My family is Italian, and every Sunday, my mom and aunts would come together to create a wonderful meal that could feed up to 20 family members and friends. Food is love, and I've learned over the years that many of our best memories are made over a plate of food.
Growing up in rural Oklahoma, I took my first job as a cook at a country club in Duncan, not realizing I was stepping onto a lifelong path in the culinary world. Over the years, I honed my skills in the kitchens of some of the top country clubs in Tulsa before making the most important decision of my career: joining the Food Bank of Oklahoma. I transitioned from serving the most fortunate to serving the less fortunate, but my commitment to providing the best meal remained unchanged.
